I met this girl called Corrine at Uni
A beauty, cutie - truly a movie, groovy

I packed up my chow-mien then I breezed
Corrine walked after me, tried to explain
“Breis wait…I don’t know why my ex came”

Felt like a sucker/ who got cut with a new knife
When she said, “BREIS I like you…but you’re too nice” Huh?
Some girls pick bad guys when they pass by
Get treated like faeces, then ask, “why?”
