Debris struck a hotel or resort on Dubai’s iconic man-made island, Palm Jumeirah, following Iran’s retaliatory strikes in the Gulf. Separately, an Iranian Shahed-136 kamikaze drone struck very close to the Burj Khalifa. It was evacuated after explosions were heard. The developments come after the United States and Israel launched coordinated strikes on Iran under what the Pentagon named “Operation Epic Fury.”
